tunnel

Rachel loved this prairie dog tunnel. she kept walking back and forth and could have spent a half an hour just in there but a school group came along and it was a bit to cozy.

We took the time to go on the merry-go-round and Rachel loved it. You could not ask for a better performance. She sat up straight held on to the bar with 2 hands and laughed and shrieked with joy all at 11 months old. Amazing!

We had a really fun day a the zoo. Me, My mom "grandma", Rachel and Jenny went to the zoo on Thursday. We managed to stay for 3 hours which is a long time for this age. They both really enjoyed it and Rachel is at an age where she actively looks and watches what the animals are doing deep in the enclosures. There are a lot of babies at the zoo right now. The manned wolf pups were supposed to come out in the afternoon but we didn't stay that long. This baby giraffe is less than a week old. although i did not catch it on film she had just chased the ostriches with which the giraffes share a cage.

Rachel got a beautiful spring dress from grandma Kosmicki and we had to wear to to church on Sunday. She was helping grandma Rasmussen put on her makeup and get ready.
